动物给药胶囊，非常适合对大鼠、小鼠进行胶囊式口部给药。

先对药物进行胶囊灌装，再对大鼠或小鼠进行给药操作。

各种被验药物需要经口投药的情况下，使用胶囊会比其他方法来的更为合适与便利：
粉末或者固体的药物，或者无法用导管进行投药的情况下，使用胶囊就可以轻松投药；
对应一些有臭味或者苦味的药剂，能够简单投药，减轻动物的痛苦；
个别制剂类药物的投药相当便利；
为了能够长时间持续的发挥药效，胶囊可以辅助充分吸收；
实验规程中必须要用胶囊进行投药的情况下，非常适合使用；
与药物混在饲料中进行喂食相比，用胶囊的方法更精准且无残留；
