双通道血压测量仪采用有创血压测量的方式,测量准确,使用方便,主要用于小鼠,大鼠,兔子,犬,猴等实验动物,可同时测量2只动物。

双通道血压测量仪可以自动操作,包括一键调零按钮。用户可以设置高压和低压报警。一系列数据输出接口可以用于数据采集。aalog voltage输出接口用于快速(连续信号)、收缩压、舒张压、和心率,兼容数据采集系统。所有的数据显示每2.5秒钟更新一次。也可以选择快速模式,进行更快实时更新。

the bpm-832 pressure monitor provides two independent amplifiers for use with bridge-type transducers, including pressure, force, and acceleration. each channel includes a high-gain preamplifier, low-pass filtering, adjustable dc balancing, and a digital readout.

the wide gain range of the bpm-832 and its excellent dc stability make it the perfect choice for interfacing most bridge-type transducers. the digital display can be calibrated in real-world units, such as mmhg, for convenient monitoring. corresponding analog outputs are provided for each channel for external recording.

a variety of transducers is available from cwe, inc. these include blood-pressure transducers, airway pressure transducers, sensitive differential transducers for measuring airflow with a pneumotach, and force transducers. the input connectors are compatible with all cwe and grass instruments® pressure and force transducers. adapter cables are available for most commercial transducers as well.

the bpm-832 is powered by a regulated, wall-mount power supply with all international approvals, including the ce mark. the bpm-832 provides a compact, economical solution for most transducer interfacing applications.

measuring blood pressure (bp) is a common requirement for many experimental procedures. it is typically done in one of two ways:

 

the direct method is straightforward, but requires catheterization of a major artery. the catheter is connected to a blood pressure transducer and suitable amplifier to produce an analog signal. this signal can be observed on an oscilloscope, or fed into a data acquisition system for recording and analysis.

the nibp method uses an inflatable cuff around the tail of the animal, a means of inflating/deflating the cuff, and a means of detecting pulsatile blood flow. depending on the equipment, special software is required to monitor the results, or the measurements can be sent serially to a computer for data collection.

important note: nibp systems differ in the means of pulse detection. mice and rats increase blood flow to their tails as a means of thermoregulation; as the body temperature increases, blood flow is diverted to the tail for heat radiation. the less-sensitive piezo-electric transducers require this heating to get an adequate signal. the more sensitive photoplethysmographic technique normally does not require heating above ambient temperature. it has long been known that heating the animal produces thermostress, and actually increases bp. thus the well-established photoplethysmographic method produces the most accurate measurements.

note: the photoplethysmographic nibp systems sold by cwe are inherently more sensitive than piezo sensor systems, and do not normally require animal heating.

the bpm-832 is a dual-channel bp amplifier with wide sensitivity range and filters. has front-panel readouts for each channel. accepts standard blood-pressure and other transducers (see below).
